With more than 28 years of leadership experience, JP is widely recognized as a visionary cybersecurity strategist. Peter Lake is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Borderless CS, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience in business improvement, cybersecurity strategy, and risk management. As an influential and results-driven leader, Peter applies a data-driven, evidence-based, and forward-thinking approach to cybersecurity, ensuring innovative, resilient, and effective security solutions for businesses.
A highly skilled leader, Peter excels in guiding multi-disciplinary teams, leveraging business analysis, strategic innovation, and relationship management to enhance operational efficiency and drive impactful security outcomes. His expertise spans cybersecurity, network security, digital forensics, project management, and data analytics, with a specialised focus on intrusion detection, ethical hacking, and machine learning-driven security visualization.
Beyond his executive role, Peter is a dedicated cybersecurity coach, mentoring neurodivergent individuals for cybersecurity career paths and CTF (Capture the Flag) team coaching, fostering the next generation of security professionals.

National Security, and STEM. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master of Leadership and is the Founder & CEO of Aya Leadership.
Dr. McGinty is dedicated to fostering diverse and sustainable leadership pipelines, empowering women in STEM, and enhancing leadership capabilities across industries.
She is an award-winning scientist,mentor, executive coach, author, and strategic advisor, working with organisations worldwide to drive innovation and inclusivity in leadership.

With a track record of leading project management teams and driving successful outcomes, Garry brings nearly 40 years of IT experience to the advisory board of Borderless CS.
With over two decades of banking and finance sector experience, Bharat is a seasoned Technology Risk professional renowned for his strategic and pragmatic approach to addressing technology and business challenges. Bharat’s extensive expertise spans the critical domains of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Risk Management. His career has been distinguished by his ability to navigate and mitigate risks in these dynamic fields, delivering robust solutions that align with business goals.
Holding a Bachelor in Information Technology and a suite of industry certifications, including ISACA’s CRISC, CISM, and CDPSE, Bharat is passionate to build the next generation of risk professionals through mentoring and education. As a Board Director at ISACA Melbourne chapter, Bharat strategized certification program expansion beyond the chapter’s geographical boundaries. Many Information Technology professional across the globe benefited from attending the Bharat’s certification program.
Bharat has made significant contributions to three of Australia’s largest financial institutions, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience on complex risk management practices. Bharat has been instrumental in identifying and implementing controls to meet regulatory and information security compliances, e.g. CPS230, PCI DSS, GDPR. Bharat currently supports CBA Artificial Intelligence strategy and driving Risk Management practices to enhance innovation, operational uplift and resilience while keeping the bank safe.
